Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the FolioJury website and portfolio-review service (the “Service”), operated by FOLIOJURY LIMITED, a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“FolioJury”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

FolioJury provides a private, digital review of design and architecture portfolios. A review analyses an uploaded portfolio document and returns an overall assessment and page-by-page feedback. The review is advisory feedback on how the work may be read by schools, studios and employers. It is not admissions advice, a guarantee of any outcome, and it does not represent the views of any named institution or employer.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account. You must have the right to submit any portfolio you upload, and it must not infringe the rights of others or contain unlawful content.

3. Your content

You retain all rights in the portfolios and materials you submit. You grant FolioJury a limited licence to store and process your materials solely to provide the Service to you. We do not publish, index, or share your portfolio with other users. See our Privacy Policy.

4. Pricing and payment

Paid plans are billed in Renminbi (CNY). Launch pricing shown on the site is a limited-time promotion; the price that applies is the one displayed at the time you complete your order. Current plans:

• Single Review (单次评审) — ¥99 (launch price; standard ¥129): one complete portfolio review.
• Quarterly Pass (季度通行证) — ¥199 (launch price; standard ¥259): four reviews within a quarter.
• Mentor Plan (导师计划) — ¥899 (launch price; standard ¥1,099): includes the Quarterly Pass plus one 1-hour one-on-one mentoring session.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Delivery

The Service is a digital service. A review is delivered electronically to your account when processing completes. A Mentor Plan session is scheduled by arrangement after purchase.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access other users’ data, submit content you do not have the right to submit, or use the Service to break any applicable law.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Portfolio feedback is a professional opinion, not a statement of fact about any third party, and outcomes with any school or employer depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FolioJury’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms and the Service. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
